The second is a Flower Market on the Place Hotel de Ville. The third is a brocante on the Place Verdun near the Palais de Justice. Note, there's also a daily farm market in Aix, on the Place Richelme near the City Hall. To learn more about the markets of Aix, click here

*Also, the covered Les Halles food market in Avignon is open daily except Monday. It has roughly 40 stalls and closes around 1 p.m.

*Vedene has an evening farmers' market, starting at 6 p.m., every day except Sunday.

*Velleron has a wonderful farmer's market, from 6 to 8 pm, every day in summer. In winter, days and hours vary.

*For the market schedule in Nice, click here.
